SYNOPSIS :
Almost of all his life, Sam Flynn (Garrett Hedlund) never met his father. Twenty years ago, Kevin Flynn (Jeff Bridges), Sam's father suddenly disappears without a trace. Obsessed to find his missing father , Sam had spent his lifetime studying the virtual world of computers and technology.
One time, Sam was asked by Alan Bradley (Bruce Boxleitner) to investigate a strange signal coming from a video game made by Sam's father. When Sam investigates a strange signal is suddenly sucked into a virtual world. Sam sucked into the world that should only exist in video games. Fortunately there Quorra (Olivia Wilde), who then help Sam to find his father who had been missing.
Sam didn't know, Kevin was trapped in a virtual world where he must fight like the gladiators in ancient Rome. Over time, Kevin was getting old and can not survive forever in this world that is very hard. If Sam came too late to save the father, could be the father of these child will no longer be able to see forever.
